The estimated turnover of TIM SA in the Q1 of 2018 increased by almost 20% YOY

As follows from preliminary estimates, March and quarter I of 2018 were the second best ones in terms of revenues from the net sales of goods and services directly related to sales in the entire 30-year-long history of TIM SA. The turnover in March amounted to PLN 64.88 million (+11.6% YOY), while in the period from January to March 2018 it exceeded PLN176.72 million (+19.9% YOY).

The estimated revenue from the e-commerce channel in March 2018 amounted to nearly PLN 42.53 million – about 3.9% more than in the corresponding month of 2017. Online sales throughout the entire first quarter of 2018 earned over PLN 123.88 million, which means 16.6% growth in relation to the first three months of 2017.

“Only October 2018 was better than March and we only achieved higher quarterly sales in quarter IV last year. And let me remind you that we are talking about winter months, which are the period that we would not take into account in terms of beating any record before the change of our business model. The seasonality of our revenues from sales has become a thing of the past”,  notes Krzysztof Folta, the President of the Management Board of TIM SA. “We began this year with January that was the best in the history. The same is true for February and March. The boom in the investment market is a fact. All that not only gives us the reasons for optimism, but also a great boost of energy to work and constantly improve our operating model”, adds Krzysztof Folta.
