Three quarters of 2018 in the TIM Capital Group: historical turnover, EBITDA increased by more than 300%

The sales revenues of TIM Capital Group after 9 months of 2018 amounted to PLN 606.4 million (+17.7% y/y), and of TIM itself – to PLN 550.9 million (+16.7% y/y). The dynamic revenue growth is accompanied by operating profit, gross and net. 3LP logistics company recorded a positive result at all levels of the profit and loss account. The share of customers from outside the TIM Group in 3LP revenues from logistics services reached 26% (against 7% in the same period of 2017)

The consolidated operating profit (EBIT) amounted to PLN15.6 million (vs. PLN1.8 million loss after 3 quarters of 2017), while net profit totalled PLN11.7 million (vs. PLN2.3 million loss). TIM’s operating profit reached PLN 9.3 million (vs. PLN 1.4 million), and net profit – PLN 7.6 million (vs. PLN 974,000). At the EBITDA level, the Group achieved PLN 23.8 million profit, i.e. by 300.7% more than in the corresponding period of 2017.

“The net result of the Group was the effect of almost 18 percent increase in sales revenues, higher gross margin on sales and, in case of revenues, slower growth dynamics of operating costs (by 15.2%). This is largely the result of increased efficiency in the operating capabilities of the Logistics Centre which is operated by 3LP SA”, notes Piotr Tokarczuk, Member of the Management Board and CFO of TIM SA.

The logistics company that belongs to the TIM Group after 3 quarters of 2018 recorded 26% revenue growth year-on-year, positive financial results at all levels of the profit and loss account, as well as positive flows from operating activities. The share of revenues from logistics services from customers outside the Group increased from 7% to 26%. In the production plant located in Siechnice near Wrocław, where the logistic centre managed by the company is located, there is a newly built warehouse with an area of 10 500 sq.m which has just been put into service. 3LP SA now disposes of a total of 60 000 sq.m. class A warehouse space.

“History repeats itself. A few years ago, after TIM changed its business model, despite the scepticism of many people, each subsequent quarter confirmed that we had chosen the right direction. Now the same thing is happening with 3LP – better and better results, extending cooperation with existing and new customers, including the world’s leader in sales of household goods and home furnishings … This is tangible evidence that our logistics business is working better and better and is dynamically evolving”, comments Krzysztof Folta, the President of TIM SA Management Board.
