In TIM spring already in February

Early estimates suggest that in February 2019 net revenues of TIM SA from the sales of goods and services directly related to the sale of goods amounted to over PLN 57.8 million. As compared to February 2018 this means an increase by 7.6%. After two months of 2019 TIM’s turnover already exceeded PLN 121.4 million (+8.5% y/y).

Estimated revenues from online sales in February 2019 amounted to PLN 42.08 million and the dynamics in the e-commerce channel was higher (+ 11.0% y/y) than the dynamics of the total sales.

– February is the shortest month of the year and a holiday season due to school winter break. Weather conditions are usually unfavourable to carry out construction investments, although this last factor was not that bad this year. Nevertheless, it is usually the month with the lowest turnover in the entire year. Meanwhile, this year’s February in terms of revenues turned out to be even better for TIM than May 2018 (57.56 million). One can therefore say that the beginning of spring is already here and each subsequent month should bring even more satisfying levels of turnover – says Krzysztof Folta, the President of the Management Board of TIM SA.
