Above average increases in sales in May

Early estimates suggest that in May 2020 net revenues of TIM SA from the sales of goods and services directly related to the sale of goods amounted to over PLN 76 million. They were therefore by 21.8% higher as compared to May 2019.

After five months of 2020, the estimated turnover of TIM SA exceeded PLN 358.8 million and the revenues from sales in the e-commerce channel PLN 255.1 million. This is the increase by 14.2% and 12.9% respectively as compared to the corresponding period of 2019.

– Double-digit sales growth dynamics is becoming our standard this year, however its level recorded in May is genuinely impressive. We have been and are growing regardless of the moment of the pandemic and the economy within – whether it is the deep lockdown or thawing the subsequent sectors – notes Krzysztof Folta, the President of the Management Board of TIM SA. – Of course, our growth is supported by the e-commerce channel. The mere implementation of online sales is no recipe for successful defence against the pandemic – we would be witnessing now a number of spectacular market successes, otherwise. This also requires years of experience, knowledge of the market and of the customer needs. An so it is the hybrid sales model we implemented almost seven years ago – emphasizes Krzysztof Folta.

Such sales dynamics is also a credit to customers who in the recent months have found their way to TIM looking for a way to quickly and safely access the widest range of electrotechnical products in Poland. – They have been searching and have finally found and stayed with TIM for a little longer. They confirm their beliefs that our offer is attractive and meets their needs – adds Krzysztof Folta.
