Another TIM’s monthly sales record. Over PLN 574 million in the first half of 2021.

Early estimates suggest that in June 2021 the monthly net revenues of TIM SA from the sales of goods and services directly related to the sale of goods amounted to almost PLN 110 million (PLN 109.9 million, +46%). It’s the highest score in TIM’s history. The entire Q2 of 2021 generated over PLN 312.3 million (+42.7% y/y) whereas the revenues from sales in the first half of 2021 exceeded for the first time and quite significantly PLN 0.5 billion (PLN 574.4 million, +32.2% y/y). 

In June 2021 the revenues from online sales generated by the customers themselves reached an unprecedentedly high level of PLN 76.4 million (+41.7% y/y) whereas in the entire first half of 2021 they exceeded PLN 403 million (+30.4%, y/y). This is about 70% of the total revenues from the TIM’s sales. Remote sales, i.e. via the sales network (telephone, e-mail) remains at the level of 30%. This is consistent with the assumptions of the TIM business model. Since some customers need either specialized technical advice or simply support in the order placing process. 

– We have experienced the fourth month in which the revenues from sales have exceeded PLN 100 million. This year, month after month, the results are better than those in the corresponding period of 2020. Since April 2021 we have been observing further stages of unfreezing the economy and TIM is growing even faster than during the consecutive waves of the pandemic – notes Krzysztof Folta, the President of the Management Board of TIM S – This is tangible evidence that we do not owe our increases to subsequent lockdowns. For the last few years we could see that the business model implemented in the years 2013-2014 has allowed us to become independent of the economic situation in the construction industry. Recent months demonstrate we are also immune to further waves of the shutdown and unfreezings of the economy. The result are the best in history: the second quarter and the first half of the year – emphasizes Krzysztof Folta.
