April 2021 at TIM: second month in a row over PLN 100 million revenues from sales, almost 50-proc % dynamics y/y

Early estimates suggest that in April 2021 net revenues of TIM SA from the sales of goods and services directly related to the sale of goods amounted to almost PLN 101 million. As compared to April 2020 this means an increase by a record 49.7%. Sale in the e-commerce channel grew even faster – by 54.3% y/y.

Online sale in April 2021 brought PLN 73.8 million and this means its share in TIM’s total revenues was 73.1%. For four months of 2021 the e-commerce channel has already generated over a quarter of a billion zlotys (PLN 251.1 million, +23.6% y/y). TIM’s total turnover increased during this time by 28.2% as compared to the corresponding period of 2020 to almost PLN 363.1 million.

– Nothing happens twice, unless we are talking about TIM exceeding the limit of PLN 100 million of monthly turnover – says Krzysztof Folta, President of the Management Board of TIM SA. – If you look at the data from previous years, April has never been the month of highest turnover and additionally this year it was shorter by two business days than the record-breaking March which saw the limit of PLN 100 million in sales exceeded for the first time in one month. March 2021, when we achieved nine-digit revenues from sales for the first time, was undoubtedly an impulse for even more intensive and more effective work in the month to follow, however, that’s not all. This year’s April is the proof that our offer is more and more universal, comprehensive and at the same time resistant to seasonality. Products from a great number of branches of the assortment are constantly being added to the warehouse offer, i.e. with specific availability and lead time. Customers see and appreciate that This is largely the result of intensive development of alternative sales models, in particular the hybrid marketplace – adds Krzysztof Folta.
