August 2022 at TIM SA: a positive end to the summer holiday season

Preliminary estimates indicate that, in August 2022, TIM SA’s net monthly revenue generated by sales of goods and services directly related to sales reached PLN 115.2 million (+5.9% YY). Revenue from online self-service sales increased by 8% YY to PLN 84.5 million in August 2022.

Eight months into 2022, total sales revenue came close to PLN 1 billion (PLN 960.8 million, +21.8% YY). Online self-service sales generated PLN 672.8 million in that period (+20.3% YY).

“The August figures give reason for satisfaction, especially in the context of the current market environment. August 2022 had one more working day than July, so they cannot be compared directly, but we also recorded an increase in sales per working day (5.24 in August vs. PLN 5.07 million in July 2022),” notes Krzysztof Folta, CEO of TIM SA. “We have thus reinforced the multi-month trend whereby sales per working day exceed the level of five million PLN. Additionally, for the first time since this March, the increase in revenue from self-service sales revenue was higher than the overall increase in revenue from sales. The macroeconomic situation is complex, but we are prepared for autumn, which for years has traditionally meant the highest demand for electrical goods,” adds Krzysztof Folta.
