February 2021 with TIM SA: dynamic growth in the sales regardless of the weather

Early estimates suggest that in February 2021 net revenues of TIM SA from the sales of goods and services directly related to the sale of goods amounted to over PLN 80.5 million, i.e. 18.1% more than in the corresponding period of 2020.

After two months of 2021 TIM’s turnover exceeded PLN 155.6 million (+13.4% y/y) and the revenues from the e-commerce channel – PLN 105 million (+2.5% y/y). In February 2021 online sales generated almost PLN 51.6 million (+3.6% y/y).

Sales dynamics in February 2021, almost identical to that recorded a year earlier (18.1% vs 18.0%), is another proof of TIM’s detuning from the situation in the electrotechnical industry. Before the change of the business model, an attack of frosty, snowy winter was for us the reason for concerns. It meant suspension of a number of construction works and thus limitation of the demand for products necessary for their implementation – recalls Krzysztof Folta, President of the Management Board of TIM SA. – However, these were the times when TIM was a network of wholesalers and not an e-commerce platform as it is today. A platform which constantly expands the group of customers with recipients making regular purchases, regardless of the weather. In addition, thanks to business partners cooperating with us in the hybrid marketplace model, TIM.pl expands the offered range with products from outside the electrotechnical industry, purchased regardless of the prevailing weather conditions – adds Krzysztof Folta.
