Adrian Meronk – the best Polish golfer, currently occupying 469 position in the world ranking, last weekend recorded the greatest success in his career and in the history of Polish golf – made his way to the 2 place on the podium during the European Tour competition at Alfred Dunhill Championships in South Africa. For the last 1.5 years TIM SA has been one of the competitor’s sponsors.

European Tour is commonly known as golf Formula 1 – it is the top-level competition with only the world’s top players qualified. The podium scored during the last games and previous fantastic results allowed Adrian to take the 5 position in the competition ranking. In the commentators’ opinions he has a chance for an even higher position. However, it can already be said that Adrian Meronk is the best player in the history of golf in Poland – none of his predecessors had even made it to the European Tour.

The successes of the 27-year-old golfer from Wrocław contribute to his qualification for the Olympic Games in Tokyo. His next year’s performance in Japan is almost certain.
