March 2023 – the second best month in the history of TIM SA in terms of sales

Preliminary estimates show that TIM SA’s revenue from net sales of goods and services directly related to the sale of goods amounted to in March 2023. PLN 136.8 million (-22.1% year-over-year), while in the entire Q1 2023 – PLN 365.5 million (-7.1% year-over-year). Equally a year after the highly unusual March 2022, the Company’s monthly revenue exceeded PLN 130 million for the second time in its history.

‘Not counting March 2022, we have seen the best month in TIM’s history. We were aware of the unusually high base from a year ago, due in large part to the change, to less favourable rules, of the settlement of the ‘My Electricity’ programme and the high uncertainty that prevailed in the market after Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. We therefore knew that equalling, not to mention improving, the record high of over PLN 175 million from March 2022 was out of the question’, says Krzysztof Folta, President of the Management Board of TIM SA.

However, in March 2023, despite the volatile market situation, TIM’s estimated revenues exceeded – in fact for the first time under ‘normal’ market circumstances – the level of PLN 130 million.

‘The March results clearly indicate that we are leveraging our significant competitive advantages. The increasingly broader product offer available on TIM.pl, combined with a high level of activity in the market, means that the ever-growing customer base finds in TIM a true electrical engineering centre for professionals’, summarises Krzysztof Folta.
