October 2022 at TIM SA: the second highest level of monthly sales in the company’s history, a record number of customers served

Preliminary estimates indicate that in October 2022, TIM SA’s monthly revenue from net sales of goods and services directly related to the sales of goods reached PLN 128.8 million (+7.1% YoY).

After the first ten months of 2022, total revenue from sales is higher by almost 18% compared to the analogous period in 2021 (PLN 1.22 billion vs PLN 1.03 billion), while revenue from online sales conducted directly by the customers – by 16.3% (PLN 849.2 million vs PLN 730.3 million). Revenue from online sales performed independently by the customers increased in October 2022 by 0.8% YoY – to PLN 87.2 million.

‘Taking into account the fact that the sales results in March were unnaturally high due to the outbreak of the war beyond our eastern border, which resulted in uncertainty regarding the availability of products, October was the best month of 2022 in terms of sales. We achieved this despite the long weekend that fell on the last working day of this month’, emphasises Krzysztof Folta, President of the Management Board of TIM SA. ‘The percentage increase in sales on a year-on-year basis in October 2022 was the highest among all months of the second half of the year. One year ago, we recorded the highest level of sales in September, two years ago – in November. In October 2022, more than 20,500 customers benefited from TIM’s offer, which means a record month in the entire history of the company. This is a great result almost on the eve of TIM’s 35th birthday, which falls on 25 November’, adds Krzysztof Folta.
