PLN 1.3 million of support in four years – a new edition of TIM’s charity campaign

More than PLN 394,000 will go to 21 local institutions and organisations in this year’s edition of the TIM Santas [TIM Mikołajów] charity campaign, which has traditionally been launched before Christmas. Its budget is the result of the joint commitment of TIM and the manufacturers offering their products at Internet users, primarily TIM customers, will decide where the donations will go in an online poll. The total support provided to the beneficiaries in all editions of the campaign will exceed PLN 1.36 million this year.

TIM Santas 2023 is already the fourth edition of TIM’s charity campaign, which was initiated in 2020. The pandemic which was ongoing at that time sparked a change in the way we perceive and experience solidarity with those in need. Due to the above, the Management Board of TIM S.A. chose not to purchase Christmas gifts and book calendars for its customers and offered support to local communities instead.

The main idea behind TIM Santas has become to actively involve business partners and customers of in the initiative. The partners support the campaign by increasing its funding from their own resources. The customers decide who will receive financial support – each of them is assigned to one of the commercial offices located across Poland and can choose from three local institutions.

Landmark decision: We are breaking TIM Santas record

— Following the success of the first edition of TIM Santas, the campaign has become an inherent part of TIM’s DNA, and the meetings during which our employees present symbolic cheques are a time of joy and emotion. During the three previous editions, we supported 52 local institutions, together with the manufacturers of the products available at, by providing them with a total of PLN 969 thousand — enumerates Piotr Nosal, Member of the Management Board and Sales Director at TIM SA. — I am very pleased with such a large group of manufacturers supporting this year’s edition. Together, we create a business that is socially involved, while breaking an all-time record of TIM Santas — he adds.

The 2023 edition is the largest one in history in terms of the number of partners involved – there are as many as 67 (in 2020, there was 7 manufacturers, in 2021 – 35 and in 2022 – 48). Thanks to their support, the funding in this year’s edition will exceed PLN 394 thousand (last year – PLN 391,000). As a result, 18 beneficiaries will receive at least PLN 20 thousand. There are also additional donations in the amount of at least PLN 10 thousand for 3 organisations that will not win the first place in the vote in individual regions, but they will be at the forefront globally.

Local institutions are waiting for the votes of Internet users

The institutions selected by TIM employees differ in the scope of their activities. They include hospices and foundations taking care of sick charges, animal shelters, sports clubs and cultural institutions. The beneficiaries are selected through a specially prepared survey available at, which will last until 30 November 2023. Any Internet user can take part in the vote – also those who do not have an account at The results of the campaign and the list of beneficiaries will be announced on St. Nicholas’ Day, i.e. on 6 December 2023.
