PLN 50 for a T-shirt means PLN 50 for an orphanage – unique- #DreamTIM for Kids (#DreamTIM dla Dzieciaków) campaign is still on

The sale of charity T-shirts othe #DreamTIM for Kids campaign was launched on the e-commerce platform TIM.pl on 1 June, i.e. on Childrens Day. The total revenue from their sale will go to 17 orphanages from all over the country. The T-shirts will be available until the end of June 2021 or while stocks last. At the same time TIM is into developing creativity in children by way of an arts and multimedia competition organized for the children from those institutions.

In 2020, during the TIM Mikołajów Christmas campaign, the customers pointed to 17 local foundations and organizations which received PLN 221 000 from TIM and its suppliers. In the Spring of 2021, as part of #DreamTIM for Kids, TIM has decided to invite TIM.pl buyers to get even more – financially – engaged. PLN 50 net spent on a charity T-shirt means PLN 50 that will find its way to an orphanage in one of the 17 regions in which operate TIM’s sales offices. TIM SA covers 100% costs of the manufacture of the t-shirts. The list of facilities is available at https://www.tim.pl/dreamtim-dla-dzieciakow

The second part of the campaign is a prize competition for the children from those 17 orphanages. The task is to prepare a work in any form covering one of the three topics:

  • An electrician – means the master of electricity.
  • Renewable energy sources – what does that mean?
  • What will the world look like in the nearest future?

The TIM pro responsible business strategy implemented in 2019 is focused on supporting local communities with particular emphasis on children and youth. As part of the employee voluntary work program (before the outbreak of the pandemic) TIM employees helped in the renovation of schools and crèches, whereas the support from subsequent editions of the TIM grant program has, in its large portion, been received by children and youth sports teams, orphanages, children’s hospices and foundations working for the benefit of young people.

– We know that as a large company we can do a lot for the world around us. Helping has been a part of our organizational culture for nearly thirty-five years. We have been strategically planning and implementing our social commitment for over two years now – says Krzysztof Folta, the President of the Management Board of TIM SA. – We realize that by including not only TIM employees but also our customers, suppliers and other business partners in these projects, we can simply do much more. Hence first the idea of the TIM Mikołajów at Christmas time and now the #DreamTIM for Kids campaign – adds Krzysztof Folta.

The charity T-shirts are still on sale on TIM.pl! Every information is available at https://www.tim.pl/dreamtim-dla-dzieciakow/.
