Record high increase in revenues from sales y/y, the second best month in history – August 2021 at TIM SA

Early estimates suggest that in August 2021 TIM’s monthly net revenues from the sales of goods and services directly related to the sale of goods amounted to PLN 108.7 millionTherefore, they were 53.8% higher than the revenues achieved a year before. Thus, for the first time in the companys history the increase in monthly revenues from sale y/y exceeded 50%. Also 3LP SA, a company providing services for e-commerce, is developing dynamically.

August 2021 is the second best month in terms of revenues from sales since TIM started its operations in 1987. The sum of the revenues after eight months of 2021 is already approaching PLN 800 million (PLN 789.1 million, +33.4% y/y). Revenues from online sales implemented by the customers themselves from January to August 2021 definitely exceeded 0.5 billion (PLN 558.7 million) and are 33.2% higher than those obtained in the corresponding period of 2020.

– Summer holiday period has shown the strength of our business model. In August we recorded an all-time record in terms of the number of customers – over 14,000 (+30% y/y). We are to be facing Autumn soon which traditionally is the best sales period of the year. I believe once again this is going to be the case – says Krzysztof Folta, the President of the Management Board of TIM SA.

It is not only TIM that is growing but also the company 3LP, specializing in logistics services for the e-commerce sector. Preparations for IPO are underway and on 31 August 2021 the construction site was handed over to the contractor for the purposes of another investment in Siechnice near Wrocław.

– In the currently operating facilities 3LP SA is managing the area of 80 000 square meters. Starting from April 2022, when the new, fully automated hall with the area of 25,000 square meters is put into operation, it will be over 105,000 square meters. This will increase the company’s operational potential in terms of customer service for those from outside the TIM Group – emphasizes Krzysztof Folta.
