The best June in the history of TIM SA. Q2 2023 close to the last year

Preliminary estimates show that in June 2023, TIM S.A.’s monthly revenues from net sales of goods and services directly related to sales of goods exceeded PLN 121,4 million (+4.7% year-on-year). Estimated sales revenues in H1 2023 reached more than PLN 705 million (-4.6% year-on-year), while in Q2 2023 they were similar to those recorded in the corresponding period of 2022 (PLN 345.8 million, -1,8% year-on-year).

Revenues from customer online sales reached more than PLN 77.9 million (+2.2% year-on-year) in June 2023, in H1 2023 – PLN 472.7 million (-7.7% year-on-year), while in Q2 2023 – PLN 225.8 million (-4% year-on-year).

“The best June ever and the second best sales month of the year are behind us. Sales per working day were very high and, in general, the achieved numbers exceeded our expectations,” says Krzysztof Folta, President of the Management Board of TIM SA. “In these difficult market conditions in which we operate, we assess the results of the first half of the year positively. On the other hand, when comparing them to the first half of 2022, we must bear in mind that the shadow of the high base of the first quarter of last year and the market turmoil immediately following the start of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine is still weighing on us. If we consider only the second quarter of the current year, there is only a PLN 6.3 million difference in net sales revenue from the same period last year, which is not much more than the revenue of one business day in June 2023. Although the market situation is not helping us, we see the potential and are actively taking advantage of it,” emphasises Krzysztof Folta.
