The best sales dynamics in February 2020 in the last 18 months

Early estimates suggest that in February 2020 net revenues of TIM SA from the sales of goods and services directly related to the sale of goods amounted to nearly  PLN 68.2 million, i.e. by as much as 18% more than in the corresponding period of 2019. Sales dynamics in the e-commerce channel was even higher in February 2020 – it amounted to 18.3% (49.8 vs. PLN 42.1 million).

18.0% and 18.3% are the highest monthly sales dynamics year over year since July 2018 (when they amounted to 25.7% and 22.6%, respectively). After two months of 2020 the accumulated turnover of TIM SA amounts to PLN 137.2 million, i.e. 13.0% more than in February 2019. Online sales in 2020 already generated over PLN 100 million (102.5 million vs almost PLN 89.0 million after two months of 2019, i.e. +15,2% y/y).

– To put it half-jokingly: nothing justifies us. February is the shortest month in the year. Meanwhile – in spite of this and the not very optimistic signals from the construction industry – our turnover has grown extremely impressively – says Krzysztof Folta, the President of the Management Board of TIM SA. – The only explanation is our business model, which, constantly improved and developed, is still bringing better results. Not only we offer the widest range of electrotechnical products in Poland available within 24 hours but we are also gradually expanding our offer with the assortment from other industries, available from external warehouses in the dropshipping formula – adds Krzysztof Folta.
