TIM among Forbes Diamonds 2022

For the 14th time, the editors of the magazine “Forbes” and Dun & Bradstreet presented a list of the most dynamically developing companies in Poland. Among companies with annual revenues of more than PLN 250 million, TIM SA ranks 11th in Lower Silesia (of 28 companies) and 96th in Poland.

The ranking included companies that grew their value the fastest between 2016 and 2020. Dun & Bradstreet’s analysts valued the companies using the Swiss method, combining the property and income method. As they explain, the first one does not measure the potential of employees and know-how of companies. Valuation based on profits does not take into account sensitivity to seasonal and cyclical changes. Companies that invest a lot can show little profit. The combination of the property and income method compensates for weaknesses.

It is not the first Forbes Diamond awarded to TIM. The company already won the prize in 2008 (1st Diamond of 18 Forbes Diamonds in Lower Silesia, 14th Diamond among 266 companies all over Poland) and in 2009.

“I am pleased that the Forbes Diamonds ranking is based on data from several years, which does not reflect, for example, the short-term market situation, but actually shows the long-term condition of the company. In the case of TIM, it perfectly confirms the correctness and effectiveness of the changes we introduced in 2013, focusing on e-commerce”, says Krzysztof Folta, President of the Management Board of TIM SA. “Stable, regular increases in the value of the company are also good news for our current and future shareholders. I would like to remind you that we have been working on the introduction in Warsaw of 3LP SA logistics company, which is part of the TIM Capital Group since 2016”, adds Krzysztof Folta.
