TIM, fischer Polska and Custommerce with joint nomination for e-Commerce Polska awards 2022

Rich content – a unique way of presenting fischer products on the TIM.pl platform – impressed the jury of the 10th edition of the e-Commerce Polska awards, resulting in a nomination in the “Best adaptation to new digital reality B2B” category.

Rich content replaces the traditional product page, which usually consists of a photo of the product sold and an accompanying text description listing the most important parameters. Rich content provides the customer with complete product information in an attractive, interactive way, which helps make the right purchasing decision.

The use of rich content for the presentation of fischer products on TIM.pl has been a pioneering implementation of such innovative communication of products in the construction business on a B2B e-commerce platform in Poland. It is the collaborative effort of the e-commerce platform (TIM.pl), the manufacturer (fischer Poland) and the technological partner responsible for the project and its implementation (Custommerce). Following the implementation of rich content for the first batch of 118 fischer products on TIM.pl, there was a nearly 45% increase in sales revenue, a 58% increase in the average time spent by users on a product page and a 91% decrease in the bounce rate. It is the collaborative effort of the e-commerce platform (TIM.pl), the manufacturer (fischer Poland) and the technological partner responsible for the project and its implementation (Custommerce). More about this implementation in the case study.

At the moment, TIM.pl includes more than 1,000 product pages of various Polish and foreign brands, which provide customers with comprehensive information on product specifications and possible applications. In addition to fischer, rich content is also used to present product ranges of businesses such as Kontakt Simon, Legrand, F&F, Kopos, Bemko, Elektroplast and Grupa Topex.

“It’s a great joy to once again be among the nominees for the e-Commerce Polska awards. The contest organisers indicate a surge in the popularity of the categories concerning B2B e-commerce. “The growing competition has not prevented us from getting to the final round of the competition, which confirms TIM’s position in the sector,” says Piotr Nosal, Member of the Board and Sales Director of TIM SA. “I’m glad that this is our first team nomination – it’s evident that together with our business partners we can do great things. “Rich content is, on the one hand, an answer to the changes in customers’ needs in the time of the pandemic, i.e. a new digital reality. On the other hand, it confirms the long-standing trend of our customers transferring expectations of solutions known from private life and use of B2C e-commerce into B2B e-commerce,” adds Piotr Nosal.

This is the 8th time that TIM is among the finalists of the e-Commerce Polska awards, a competition which this year celebrates a decade of its presence on the market. The e-Commerce Polska awards is a barometer of the development of the electronic economy in Poland. Not only does it recognise leaders and the best projects, but above all it shows the direction of changes. Since 2014 TIM has won it, in various categories, three times.
