TIM SA turnover in January 23% higher than in 2016

The TIM SA’s revenues from sales in January 2017 amounted to PLN 45.17 million, i.e. 22.9% more than in the previous year, as follows from preliminary calculations. 73% of this amount came from e-commerce. In January 2017, the construction and assembly production in Poland was 2.1% higher than in the corresponding period of 2016.

The turnover from the e-commerce channel in January reached the level of PLN 33 m, which means an increase by 17.3% compared to January 2016.

It follows from the preliminary data published on February 17, 2017 by the Central Statistics Office that the construction and assembly production (in constant prices), including investment-related and repair works, completed in the country by construction companies hiring more than 9 workers, in January 2017 was 2.1% higher than in the preceding year and 64.6% lower compared to December 2016. Excluding the impact of seasonal factors, the construction and assembly production was at the 2.6% lower level than in January 2016, and 1.4% higher compared with December 2016.

“Although we have become largely independent from the seasonality of the construction industry, winter remains the time when the demand for electric items is lower than in other seasons. Therefore, the high dynamics of increase in TIM revenue from sales is a very optimistic sign for the following months of 2017, ” says Krzysztof Folta, the President of the Management Board of TIM SA. “We will, of course, continue to strengthen our competitive advantages: the widest range of electrotechnical products in Poland available at hand and attractive pricing terms for regular customers, ” says Krzysztof Folta.
