TIM with two nominations for e-Commerce Polska awards 2023

In the 11th edition of the competition organised by the Chamber of the Electronic Commerce, both proposals submitted by TIM were qualified for the final stage – in the ‘Best in CSR’ and ‘Best in e-commerce B2B’ categories for medium-sized and large entities.

e-Commerce Polska awards is one of the most important competitions of the Polish e-commerce sector. The winners of this competition are the largest and most innovative brands operating in Poland. This year’s edition is the ninth of eleven editions in which TIM was nominated for the award. So far the nominations have changed into statuettes four times: in 2015 (in two categories), 2019 and 2022.

In the ‘Best in CSR’ category in 2023 the ESG strategy of the TIM Capital Group for 2023-2026 has been favourable received by the jurors. It combines two areas of e-commerce in which both companies of the Group specialise: sales area (TIM SA) and logistic area (3LP SA). The strategy is based on three pillars (Sustainable relationships, Innovative activities, Development opportunities), from which the priorities, commitments and goals emerge. Four of the measurable goals have been set at the Group level (three of them support the implementation of the goals set out in the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development), and several others – at the level of individual companies. In this category Allegro, Empik and SIG are competing with TIM for the award.

The Service Centre, nominated in the ‘Best in e-commerce B2B’ category, is one of innovative implementations of TIM.pl electric engineering centre. As a result, functions and services for customers from the B2B sector are gathered in one place. The optimisation has resulted in the improvement of 33 services in seven categories. As a consequence, the TIM.pl Service Centre has not only become a place of the service aggregation, but also a platform facilitating everyday work for the TIM business customers. In this category TIM is competing with Allegro, the ATLAS & Unity Group and the Klimas brand.

– Both this year’s nominations constitute evidence that TIM listens carefully to our stakeholders’ voices. Without this, we could not have carried out the materiality analysis process during works on the new ESG strategy. Without regular consultations with B2B customers we would not have identified their needs and the Service centre would not have been created – underlines Piotr Nosal, Member of the Management Board and Zarządu and Commercial Director of TIM SA. – At the same time, we are aware that both nominated projects constitute just an introduction. A real challenge is the implementation of the ESG strategy’s assumptions and constant improvement of the Service Centre to keep up with the customers’ needs, and even to anticipate them – adds Piotr Nosal.

The competition closing ceremony, during which we will get to know the winners of individual categories (full list of nominated entities at https://ecpawards.pl/nominowani/), will be held on 21 September 2023 in Kraków.
