TIM’s record-high PLN 800 million turnover in 2019

Early estimates suggest that net revenues of TIM SA from the sales of goods and services directly related to the sale of goods in 2019 reached the highest level in over 32-year history of the company – PLN 799.6 million, which means an increase by 6.2% as compared to 2018. Over 70% of this amount (PLN 562 million, +11.8% y/y) was generated by online sales.

TIM recorded the highest sales volume in October 2019 when for the first time in history the turnover exceeded PLN 80 million (PLN 80.35 million). In turn, December 2019 turned out to be the best in terms of the monthly year-on-year growth dynamics (+12.5% – from PLN 53.82 million in December 2018 to PLN 60.55 million in December 2019).

– The year 2019 is undoubtedly the time for breaking new records for TIM and to achieve what only 5-10 years ago seemed unattainable. In as many as 11 months our turnover exceeded PLN 60 million, whereas the fourth quarter brought both the monthly all-time record and the highest quarterly revenues from sales (over PLN 211.5 million) – observes Krzysztof Folta, the President of the Management Board of TIM. – This is the effect of the continuous improvement of our hybrid sales model. I’m thinking of both the technology thanks to which the e-commerce channel is working and the entire team cooperating with our suppliers and customers. This unique combination allows us to look optimistically into the future and set further ambitious goals each year – adds Krzysztof Folta.
