Turnover in the first half of the year better by almost 20 percent

Preliminary estimates show that TIM SA revenue from net sales of goods and services related directly to the sale of goods in the first half of 2018 amounted to over PLN 357.05 million and was by 19.1% higher than the turnover in the same period of 2017. Similar dynamics (18.7%) have been recorded for the revenues from the e-commerce channel (PLN 254.6 million).

This means that the estimated share of online sales in the total turnover of TIM SA for the first six months of 2018 was over 71%.

The estimated turnover in June 2018 itself has recorded the same dynamics as the accumulated turnover and totalled over PLN 63.91 million. The revenue from the online channel increased by 21.4% – up to PLN 46.04 million.

“In the first half of 2018, we grew by almost a fifth YOY. In 10 days we are going to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the launch of the TIM.pl. e-shop.  Since that time, we have been constantly improving it, by providing customers with a tool to respond to their needs better and better. This is one of the components of our electric motor”, says Krzysztof Folta, the President of the Management Board of TIM SA. “At the same time, we do not forget about the importance of the human factor in the distribution of electrical engineering, that is knowledge, competence, experience that even the most perfect software cannot offer. This is the traditional drive that we have been using successfully for over 30 years. Constant improvement of our hybrid sales model in conjunction with the market situation that is still good allows us to achieve the above-average growth”, adds Krzysztof Folta.
