Two nominations for TIM SA in e-Commerce Polska awards 2018

Innovative baskets full of options available in the mTIM mobile app won a nomination in the “Best Innovation” and “Think out of the box” categories in the latest edition of the contest organized by the E-economy Chamber which brings companies in the Polish sector of e-commerce together.

The baskets full of options were implemented in June 2018 and are available mainly for TIM SA customers from the B2B sector (99% of buyers in TIM). This innovative solution, unheard of in the Polish e-commerce, provides customers with the options so far available only on TIM.pl, so in the desktop version of the TIM SA e-shop.

Many simultaneous orders

The main recipients of the new solution are electro-installers, resellers or employees of the supply departments of enterprises. Now with the mTIM they can add, remove and change the names of an infinite number of baskets that are fully synchronized with the desktop version. This allows to simultaneously prepare multiple orders, e.g. for the needs of works conducted in parallel (school, playground, swimming pool, production facility, etc.), or to purchase for corporate and personal purposes at the same time. From the mobile application you can edit multiple products as well as easily copy and move products between baskets and caches. Without having to use the desktop version, mTIM users can also add one-off or permanent shipping addresses and persons authorized to receive orders.

All the features of the baskets full of options are currently available in the mTIM app for Android users (used by most customers of TIM SA). IOS app expands with a different speed.

The results in October

This year solutions implemented from November 9, 2017 to July 6, 2018 take part in the sixth edition of e-Commerce Polska awards. The categories in which mTIM baskets full of options have been nominated include the following : “Best Innovation” (award for an innovative technology solution in the e-shop – software or organizational) and “Think out of the box” (award for the most customised individual solution). The competitors of TIM among medium and large companies include eobuwie.pl, intercars.com.pl or Answear.tv. The winners will be selected by a jury of specialists in the e-commerce industry. Its decisions will be announced on October 9, 2018, during a festive Gala in Warsaw.

The tradition of the competition

The jury of e-Commerce Polska awards appreciated TIM SA for the first time already in 2014, just a year after launching the TIM.pl e-shop, awarding the company a distinction in the “Breaking the distrust” category. A year later, TIM was the winner in the “Mobile design of the year”  and “Best adaptation to the multi-channel sales” categories, and in 2016 it received a distinction in the “innovation of the year” category.
